Jed Pascoe was born Jeremy James Pascoe in South Wales in the summer of 1953.

Educated at Pengam and Croesyceiliog Grammar Schools, Newport College of Art and The Central School of Art, London.

He has a Diploma in Art & Design and a Master's in Fine Art.

He worked in the West End of London as a studio artist and typographer for Eureka Arts before taking a position in the Creative Services Unit at Ogilvy & Mather.

He turned freelance in 1985 and almost immediately his work started winning awards.

He created the idea of Rutger Hauer as the Guinness man just before he left O&M, and the idea was hijacked by another creative who won a D&AD Gold Pencil for it. Bah humbug.

His work has won British Design Awards for best corporate identity manual and best catalogue cover.

He won Advertising Cartoonist of the Year and has won several awards and prizes in international cartoon festivals and competitions. In France, he is known as 'the Professor.'

He has worked for the Dally Express, the Daily Mail, The Financial Times, and the Sunday Mirror.

His passion is swords and swordplay and he owns a collection of swords, daggers, and sabres.

His club motto is Vincit que se vincit- He conquers who conquers himself.

The family motto is Fides Pro Ego- integrity before self.

He lives in Bedfordshire with his wife, Deryl. He has a son, Matt Pascoe, also an award-winning designer, who is married to Rachel, a staff nurse at the Royal Surrey Hospital. His Brother and his brother's partner, former TV presenters Simon Pascoe and Caitlin Easterby, are the prime movers behind Red Earth Environmental Art, a unique and cutting edge fine art collective.

Art runs in our family. Only the best is good enough.
